Healthcare Workforce Prep Day
Join us for a day of preparation for a career in the healthcare industry! We’re hosting students ages 16-18 who have a strong interest in pursuing a career in the healthcare industry. Each student will have the opportunity to practice a case-study on DMACC’s Anatomage Table, go through mock interviews with professionals and become certified in UnityPoint Health’s Stop the Bleed program!

10:00 am – 2:00 pm
This will be a 5 hour event hosted at DMACC’s Ankeny campus in building 24. Various partners from the Polk County Healthcare Workforce Collaborative will be on hand teaching students valuable skills like anatomy, proper interview etiquette, how to prepare for a journey into the healthcare workforce and a Stop the Bleed Certificate!
Lunch will be provided!
